A therapist steered me towards this book, and, as the universe so often provides just what you need at just the right time, the book was front and centre in a convenience store I passed on my way out of the therapist's office.
The eight 'doctrines' and twelve 'remedies' laid out in the book will be familiar now to anyone who has explored the self-help market but at the time it was all new to me.
I made my way through it at speed doing the activities and visualizations that she recommends.
It's obvious now that things have turned out very well for me and I credit this book for turning me around at a critical time.
